Dallas AA Intergroup Central Office is the official place to find Alcoholics Anonymous meetings in the Dallas area. All meeting details come straight from local AA groups. This helps keep the listings accurate and up to date.
You may have found other websites that look like AA. However, many of them are run by treatment-marketing companies. They may try to collect your information or send you to paid rehab services. AA is different. There are no dues or fees to join. Meetings are free and non-commercial. They are supported only by voluntary contributions.
If you are looking for AA meetings near you, there are many options in Dallas. You may be new to AA, coming back, or looking for a new home group. Either way, there are hundreds of meetings each week. In addition, there are many formats, such as discussion, speaker, and Big Book study. Because of this variety, you can find something that works for you. Most of all, everyone is welcome.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
